Privacy Notice

This notice explains what limited information is processed when you visit kularion.com, why, and the rights you have. The site has no sign-up, no login, and no contact forms, so there is very little to describe.

WHO WE ARE

This website is operated by Kularion FZC, a Free Zone Company registered at Sharjah Research Technology and Innovation Park (SRTIP), Block B, Office B55-055, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. Kularion FZC is the data controller responsible for the limited processing described here. You can reach us at hello@kularion.com.

WHAT WE COLLECT

We do not ask for or store your name, email address, or any information you submit, because the site gives you no way to submit it.

We use Vercel Web Analytics, a privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics service, to understand aggregate traffic. It records anonymous, aggregated figures such as page views, the site that referred you, an approximate country or region, and the type of device and browser used. It does not set cookies, does not follow you across other websites, and does not build an individual profile of you.

COOKIES

This site sets no cookies and uses no local storage for tracking. Because nothing is stored on your device for this purpose, there is no cookie banner and nothing for you to consent to.

LEGAL BASIS

Where the EU or UK General Data Protection Regulation applies, we rely on our legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) in understanding aggregate traffic to maintain and improve the site. Where the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data Protection (the "UAE PDPL") applies, we rely on the equivalent legitimate-interest ground under Article 4. Because the data is aggregated and is not used to identify you, the effect on your privacy is minimal under either regime.

WHERE DATA IS PROCESSED

Hosting and analytics are provided by Vercel Inc., based in the United States, acting as our processor. Visiting the site may involve processing on infrastructure outside your own country, including the United States, under Vercel's data processing terms and appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses. The same arrangement satisfies the cross-border transfer requirements under Article 22 of the UAE PDPL. You can read how Vercel handles data in its privacy policy.

RETENTION

We do not store any personal data ourselves. Aggregated, anonymous analytics are retained by Vercel for a limited period in line with its service, and we keep only aggregate figures.

YOUR RIGHTS

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, the right to data portability, and the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. Comparable rights apply under the UAE's Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data.

Because we hold no information that identifies you, we will usually have nothing to retrieve, correct, or delete. You are still welcome to contact us at hello@kularion.com with any question.
